The Bone Whisperer
Dr. Laurel E. Schwingel, DO (she/her) practices Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine at her clinic in Cottage Grove, Oregon.
Dr. Schwingel was born in California where she went to undergrad at Cabrillo College and then University of California Santa Cruz, then to med school at Touro University California College of Osteopathic Medicine. After graduation, she did her residency in Maine in Family Medicine and Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine. During this time, she met her spouse with whom she has one child, and lots of pets!
They moved to Eugene Oregon in 2016 and to the farm in 2021.
Dr S worked for Oregon Medical Group where she founded the OMM Department from 2016 to September 2023.
Dr S decided to open her private practice in 2023, named because many of her patients call her “The Bone Whisperer”.
